A recycle truck with a trailer attached drives through a community and parks at a designated site on a particular day to collect bags of separated recyclable plastic, paper, metal cans and glass. A very large community may be split up into several zones with multiple collection sites.
Individuals bring in their bags of material and their KilorandsTM card is swiped to bring up their details. The materials are then weighed and loaded into bulk bags until they are collected by the truck.
Individuals from the community will collect and separate their recyclable packaging.
On the allocated day, the PACKA-CHING truck will arrive in the community at its designated collection site.
